Application & Funding Guidelines

Thank you for expressing interest in our funding opportunity. To facilitate a seamless application process and ensure a comprehensive evaluation, we kindly request that you acquaint yourself with the following criteria and guidelines before submitting your project.

Application Requirements

To be eligible for funding, kindly prepare and submit inside the online application form the following documents in English, each in a separate file with clear labeling:

  1. Biographical Note
    Provide biographical notes for the scriptwriter, director, producer, and the production company.
  2. Synopsis
    Present a concise overview of your project (1 Page).
  3. Treatment
    Elaborate on the treatment of your project (~10-15 Pages).
  4. Complete Script
    Submit the entire script in English & original language.
  5. Statement of Intent
    A jointly written document by the director and producer, outlining the artistic and commercial dynamics of the project.
  6. Strategy for Management and Marketing:
    Include the producer’s plan (up to 3 pages) for managing and marketing the project.
  7. Analytical Budget:
    Provide a detailed breakdown of expenses directly linked to the project’s development.
  8. Production Budget Summary:
    Offer a breakdown for co-producers.
  9. Additional Documentation:
    Include any other relevant documentation that will aid in the evaluation of your project.

Eligible Countries

To apply for this funding round, applicants must be residents or members of one of the following countries. Projects must be designed as a co-production with at least one other SEE Cinema Network member state:

  • Albania
  • Bulgaria
  • Cyprus
  • Greece
  • Kosovo
  • Montenegro
  • North Macedonia
  • Romania
  • Serbia

Submission Instructions

Ensure all documentation is submitted in separate files, each clearly labeled with the corresponding category (e.g., “Synopsis,” “Treatment,” “CV-Scriptwriter”). All files must be in the English language.
